Raya with Kitty

This week saw a succession of Raya open houses by some lovely hostesses within our circle of friends. Firstly, Kitty had hers on Tuesday evening. It was a private do for close friends and family. It also turned to be an opportunity to bump into old friends, which we don’t often get to see like Miss R.

The usual teeny tots were there to add cuteness and mirth to the whole occasion (Miss J, take note of your handsome hero!). The food was great, the desserts – one can never go wrong with anything chocolate-y especially from Funbread! And everyone was all smiles (which was good for me – the enthusiastic shutterbug).

I had the opportunity to pick up a few photography tips along the way from some experts in the house too, which was lovely. Unfortunately, the electricity went towards the later part of the evening; I’m sure the hosts were pleased that it didn’t happen any earlier – and we (well and truly stuffed) guests all took it as a timely sign to call it an evening, despite the tempting lure to party on with candles. A big thank you though to Mizz Kitty and family for a well-hosted evening of food and fun! Next year lagi ah…

A BIG Thank You to all that came that night..and sincerest apologies too if I didn't get to sit down and have a good chat with everyone. I tried but as you can recall, it was such a hectic night...and that's not including the sudden blackout towards the end!

As for next year...well...I think I'll be giving it a rest dulu lah *hehehe*
