The day after Kitty's Raya do saw Miss F having her own over lunch … as did Miss K after work. Miss F had a great spread (when isn’t it ever?) with yummy desserts - the highlight of which was a fudgy chocolate cake from Empire and some lush colourful buttery cupcakes which had everyone going for seconds. Needless to say the desserts did not linger around too long on the serving plates! Then we had the usual post-prandial camera frenzy; everyone digging out their respective cameras, piling it onto one chair and designating an unsuspecting random male to be the camera-clicker and then it’s – Poseeee people! Kitty’s dad spared some additional lovely tips for getting nice portrait shots which worked out beautifully – so a thank you to him too!
Feeling (gratefully) stuffed, we all went on our way to convene 3 hours later at Miss K’s home who was kindly hosting an open house for cousin Miss L as well. Here again, we had more 'makan-makan'. It was an unusual (but no less cool) spread featuring Shawarma, and Sushi and the ubiquitous chocolate cakes for dessert (one of which was Miss L’s very own Amaretti special)… Mmmm. Baby Adam was noticeably cute and a pleasure to click with mommy Miss Y! Towards the end of our stay, there was even more manic camera-clicking action from everyone (Kitty, we’ll have to come up with a group name for us clickers - It's almost too predictable!). Finally, big thanks to hostesses Miss F and Miss K & Y (& L) for inviting us to their Raya open houses… We had a great time!
