Eid Mubarak

Slightly belated in terms on announcement but Hari Raya will start on Saturday much to everyone's delight. Not that it makes much difference in the first place seeing that we'd still be returning back to work on Tuesday!

Aah yes, Saturday will mark the beginning of a month-long celebration with our family, relatives, friends and work colleagues with never-ending invitations to 'open houses' a.k.a free food. Medulla's already issued invitations to her open house (are we having another garden party?)...Miss E has also indicated about having her open house as well as two new types of cakes which her mum will be baking (yumm yumm)..Minimuffins is taking orders for her rather delish carrot cake (what about those mouthwatering brownies? muffins?).

With all this talk about open houses and food, I'm just glad I decided to stick with simple baju kurungs instead of those fancy bajus which'll most likely emphasize my ever-growing bulge otherwise known as tummy!
