Let's go shopping

As I finally braved my way to Oxford Street this morning, I noticed a new player which wasn't around yet the last time I was in London. The ubiquitous Primark. I have yet to step foot into the store but from what I'd seen for the past five days that I've been here, it would appear Primark is this today's version of C&A.

According to my source, there was a long queue on its opening day - so one can only imagine the crowd when the summer sale kicks in!

While we're on the subject of summer sales, the infamous Harrods store is having its summer sale today. The sale was officiated by Sarah Michelle Gellar otherwise best known as Buffy. Not really a big fan of Harrods though..largely cos everything is too bloody expensive there despite the sale! The only thing worth checking out is the Food Hall...oooh memories of the diet-busting cakes and pastries, sushi and chocolates are starting to flood in now..I guess that's an excuse for me to check out the store..
