A shop in Seria town reported that 260 copies of the paper were stolen. It was one of the many theft cases that were lodged..." [link]

I can't imagine what was going through the thieves' minds.
Really. I can't.
I'd much rather have a go at stealing something else.
Like what exactly?
I couldn't say.
Well...
Maybe a tub of Anum ice-cream.
Pistachio flavour.
But I digress.
Going back to motives and reasons (and this is all pure speculation cos' I obviously have nothing better to do at this time of night but to speculate about why people would steal newspapers)... if I reallyyyy had to stretch my mind on this... I'm guessing that they could try selling it off in bulk to a vendor at a cheaper price - say, for like 50 dollars for the entire bundle and in turn selling the vendor some extra profit.
Who could resist?
50 dollars can go a long way towards getting your "fix" for that day.
When desperate, every penny... or rather every cent matters.
Whilst mulling this I asked Dad just what he would consider stealing given a choice - a question that got him flummoxed and wondering what his daughter was on.
"I wouldn't steal Medulla".
"Right. Of course Dad. But if you had to?"
Turns out frozen Murtabak was the answer.
Maybe I should start a poll now. : )
But you know what I'm gonna say.
Talk is cheap.
