This year's Australian Open has definitely been a funny trail of uncertainty and surprises..save for the Women's Final (as much as I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Ana Ivanovic to take the title, odds are Maria 'Shriek'-apova will come out trumps..but hey, Henin and Serena were the two odds-on favourites to be in the final..and look where they are right now...), come Monday morning, the sports headlines would be churning out analyses about the Men's Finals of this year's Australian Open with one common denominator - how either, or both (depending on the quality of Sunday's game) Jo-Wilfried Tsonga or Novok Djokovic will represent the new era of challenges to Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Today was perhaps the first time I've seen Federer look dejected (well almost, in contrast to Nadal who completely lost all of his usual ruthlessness in yesterday's game with Tsonga), under pressure and outclassed..BUT despite all that, Federer was still gracious about his loss and that is why I believe all the Tsongas and Djokovics of this world will not come close to dethroning Federer..
..so in the meantime, I'm off to continue mourning Federer and Nadal's defeats... *bwwaaaahhh*
