It's back. The much-anticipated. Except for one or two weirdos - did anyone else think that that last guy, Paul was it?, seemed creepy what with his undescribable ode to Paula? A stalker in the making? - tonight's season opener was a bit disappointing. Auditions are usually the best part of American Idol - anyone remember the yellow parrot lady from last season? - but tonight seemed bland..
..or perhaps I'm already suffering from Idol-overload syndrome i.e boredom..coupled with the absence of Miss J, with whom I normally share a texting-frenzy session each time Idol is on.
Nonetheless, it's still too early to say. We've still got a couple more weeks of auditions (cue laughing sessions) to get through so in the meantime, relax..have a good laugh..and enjoy the musings of Idol-wannabes.

Tonight's episode was slightly better dontcha think..? That Renaldo fella with the "We are Brothers" song was hilarious!!!
