Happy Ever After

I've tried but I still can't bring myself to joining the legions of McDreamy fans who are probably still swooning over Patrick Dempsey in the new flick, Enchanted, over the weekend. Without going too much into the movie's plot, Enchanted is atypical of a Disney movie i.e. innocent heroine meets her prince charming, falls in love and live happily ever after. And in most Disney fairy-tale movies, the course of true-love-slash-happily-ever-after never runs smoothly and Enchanted is no exception.

Yes, it's sacchirinely sweet tho' not that sweet enough to make you throw up. Amy Adams is cute and fits perfectly into the Disney-princess mould whereas McDreamy is charming (what else is new?) and is less annoying than in Grey's Anatomy...in other words, they make a lovely couple. If you enjoy previous Disney movies (Cinderella, Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and The Beast just to name a few), and in need to escape from reality for 2 hours, go watch this. You'll most certainly be,ahem,enchanted..
