What next...? Part two

"Men convicted of stealing miles of railway line"

Remember when the theft of cables made headlines in this country last month?

THIS definitely tops that when three men were found guilty of stealing over 4km (2.5 miles) of rail track to sell as metal scrap.

The things people would do to make money.

But then can we blame them 100%? With everything getting expensive and the ever-increasing gap between the wealthy and the poor, it's difficult to place the blame on the latter group who are trying to survive, albeit by any means if necessary.

If the demand is there, as with the stolen cables, then one might as well make the most of it, right?

On the other hand, taking something which a government has spent so much on also means depriving people of the benefits which come with the expenditure...therefore it's not necessarily the 'right' thing to do..

..and in this particular case, can you imagine the chaos that would happen if a train were to be travelling along that particular track?

Not something I want to envision happening *shudder*
