Here's something to cheer you up what with the weekend being almost over..reminding me once again how much I don't like Mondays!!!
A 27-year old woman has filed for divorce from her husband after a 2-month marriage which saw the husband present her (as his "hantaran" to the wife) with a...drum rolls please... RM999,999.99 cheque.
And it gets more interesting..not only was the husband posing as a lawyer (for which he has been charged the Legal Profession Act) but also as a Bruneian pengiran going by the name Pengiran Sufi Tengku Mohmad Zacrie..
Just goes to show how greedy and manipulative people can be..
Seriously, who sends cheques as hantaran in the first place?? And for 999,999.99?? Didn't anyone in the girl's family even raise any eyebrows over this??

Apparantly they do that in Malaysia.. celebrities do it too.. I saw in the koleksi of pengantin2 celebriti which was out a mth or 2 ago..
Seriously?? That's just silly..i mean for all u know it could turn out to nothing but a bad cheque. Nah,siapa jua rugi??
